Stress can show up everywhere, anytime, everyday and in many forms. Stressful 'moments' can begin with confusion, poor decision making skills, brain fog, poor sleep habits, broken relationships, depressive disorders, addictions, eating disorders, weight mismanagement, and more.

For me, stress showed its ugly face years ago when I fell ill to colitis, which is an inflammatory disease of the bowel. In this situation I was always in pain, anemic and had frequent hospital visits. A few years later I found ways to help myself be well. That's why I know you can also de-stress and enjoy a better life.

Stress can be a 'wakeup call' to make simple changes in our life that can improve our mood, health, and relationships.

But, what if we don't listen to the wakeup call?

For example, if we fix that stress headache with a pill we may stress the lining of the stomach. In addition, drowning our stress with stress-eating and/or 'alcohol misuse' can cause more stress related issues leaving us with a sluggish colon, obesity, poor brain health, insomnia, and more anxiety.
