Take a Step to Work Through Stress

Stress can show up everywhere, anytime, everyday and in many forms. Stressful 'moments in time' can begin with poor decision making skills, not getting enough sleep, poor work habits, broken relationships, IBS, depressive disorders, anxiety, addictions, eating disorders, weight disorders, and more.

For me, stress showed its ugly face years ago when I fell ill to colitis, which is an inflammatory disease of the bowel. In this situation I was always in pain ... anemic and miserable. A few years later I cured myself.

Stress can also be a 'wakeup call' to make simple changes in our life that can improve our mood, health, and relationships.

But, most don't pay attention to the wakeup call- and therefore experience consequences for using a bandaid approach.

For example, If we fix that stress headache with an aspirin we may stress the lining of the stomach daily, leaving us with digestion issues. In addition, drowning our stress with 'alcohol abuse' can cause more stress leaving us with a sluggish colon and liver causing permanent damage.

One can become seriously physically & emotionally ill under stress. A 2020 Study said, "Stress can cause CANCER". Stress can increase risk for an impaired metabolism. Stress can be linked to a congested and lethargic lymphatic system.
